Way of Life

I grew up outside of Chicago, but have spent my adult life on a farm in Idaho.  I've been a journalist, teacher, and university professor. One of the joys in  my life is living next to the Snake River: canoeing, fishing, and  just watching the river stream past.

Like life, the water flows smoothest near the middle. There's sand bars and mossy patches at the river's edge.
